What personal data Baltwood AS collects, what it is used for and what rights you have.
Updated 22.10.2026
Who we are
The controller of personal data collected through this website is Baltwood AS (registry code 12711516). For any question about your personal data, write to info@baltwoodas.ee or call +372 776 8580.
What data we collect
We collect only the data needed to answer your inquiry and to run the website.
- From the price inquiry form: name, phone, email, property details (cadastral code, county, area, description of the location) and your comment.
- When you contact us by email or phone: your contact details and what we discuss.
- Visit statistics, only if you allow analytics cookies: pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location and a random identifier that tells repeat visits apart.
- Technical server logs: IP address, time and the address requested. We use them only for security and to find faults.
To value a property we also use public registers, such as the land cadastre and the land register.
Why we use the data, and on what basis
- Answering your inquiry, valuing the property and making an offer: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation).
- Concluding and carrying out a transaction: the contract (point b) and our legal obligations, such as accounting (point c).
- Keeping the website secure and filtering spam: our legitimate interest (point f).
- Visit statistics: your consent (point a), which you can withdraw at any time.
Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data or pass it on for marketing. The data is seen only by those who need it to do the work:
- our group companies (AT Transwood, Transwood Tehnika, MP & Puitmeister) when they carry out work connected with your inquiry;
- service providers who process the data on our instructions: web hosting and email;
- Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics), only if you have allowed analytics cookies;
- public authorities, where the law requires it.
Google may also process data outside the European Union, mainly in the United States. Such transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
The maps on the site are loaded from the servers of the Estonian Land and Spatial Development Board and OpenFreeMap. They see your IP address when a map loads, but store no cookies on your device.
How long we keep the data
- Inquiries that did not lead to a transaction: up to 3 years after our last contact, so we can answer faster if the same property comes up again.
- Data connected with a transaction: as long as the law requires. Accounting records are kept for 7 years.
- Visit statistics: up to 14 months.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- know what data we process about you and get a copy of it;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- ask us to erase data we no longer have a reason to keep;
- restrict the processing or object to it;
- receive the data you gave us in a machine-readable form;
- withdraw your consent at any time.
Write to us at info@baltwoodas.ee. We reply within one month. If you believe we have breached your rights, you can complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (www.aki.ee, info@aki.ee).

If we change how we process data, we update this page. The current version and its date are always here.
